Step 1 – Slide on Balls From the open end of the deck arm, slide the decorative balls onto the arm.
Step 2 – Install the PVC Washer After the balls are installed, slide the PVC washer onto the arm.
Step 3 – Add the Shaft Collar Slide the shaft collar onto the arm with the set screw facing outward so it can be tightened.
Step 4 – Position the Components Slide the balls, washer, and shaft collar toward the hook end of the deck arm until they reach the desired position.
Step 5 – Secure the Shaft Collar Using an Allen wrench, tighten the set screw on the shaft collar until it firmly grips the deck arm and holds the components in place.
Step 6 – Final Check Ensure the balls are aligned and the shaft collar is secure before hanging your bird feeder.
